UConn Begins Season at Riverfront and Housatonic Regattas

Fueled by a pasta party the previous night with UConn Women’s Rowing, the Huskies headed to Hartford to start their season at Head of the Riverfront, hosted by Riverfront Recapture. This places finishes by both the Novice 4+ and Alumni 8+.  Facing strong competition in the Men’s Varsity 8+, UConn placed 9th,10th,11th, and 14th.

One week later, the team headed to Derby Connecticut to race at the Head of the Housatonic. A strong showing from the Huskies yielded the results as follows: The Novice 4+ placed first, Novice 8+ second, and a third-place finish by the Varsity 8+
