Aug 5 UCMC Spends Summer in Anticipation for Upcoming Racing Season

Although it’s technically the “Off-Season” for many Club Sports, UCMC athletes are still spending their summer on the water and exercising. A few athletes have found themselves coaching for their local teams and boathouses, while others stay active on their Rowing Machines.

Our dedicated athletes can hardly contain themselves, ready to see each other again once school starts up. There’s only so much time between now, and the first day they can hop back into a boat as a team!

Looking forward to some of our first, major races of the Fall 2024 Season, we will be training for the Head of the Riverfront in Hartford, CT on October 6, and The Head of the Housatonic on October 13.
