Huskies Finish Season in Saratoga Springs, NY

For the last race of the 2019 Fall Season, UConn Men’s Crew traveled to The Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga Springs, NY. The Huskies entered three Varsity Eights, two Varsity Fours, and two Novice Eights.

At 10:40am, the two Novice Eights took to the course. The ‘A’ boat recorded a time of 11 16.19 6, earning them a fourth place finish. The ‘B’ boat crossed the line in 13 48.90, placing 16th. Just thirty minutes later, the two Varsity Fours raced. They faced a deep field, finishing in 19th and 29th respectively.

The last races of the day were the Varsity Eights. The First Varsity Eight secured a top-10 placement, finishing over twenty seconds ahead of University of Rhode Island. The Second Varsity Eight ‘A’ and ‘B’ boats also achieved top-10 placements, finishing 7th and 9th respectively.
